I started writing and rewriting my Power Moms story so many times that I’ve lost count at this point. To be honest, I think that alone is a big part of my story. The journey of an introverted perfectionist who becomes a parent, and realizes that she has to make some changes to be the parent she wants to be.

When I first became a mom I struggled. All the time. Looking back there was some very real trauma that happened in the process, but also there were a lot of things that I needed to address on the inside in order to feel good about myself and my life. Amidst the turbulence, a profound realization emerged: this journey held the potential for deep personal growth, an experience of transformative significance.

Motherhood, unexpectedly, became the catalyst for self-discovery and development. It empowered me to let go of minor concerns, release the constant noise of self-criticism, and go beyond my comfort zone. While the seeds of this transformation were certainly sown during therapy, it blossomed in earnest following the birth of my first child and has continued to this day.

For me, embracing the mantle of a Power Mom isn't solely about fulfilling parental duties; it's a wholehearted commitment fueled by my children—a source of boundless inspiration and motivation. I strive to embody an example that empowers and guides them toward their true potential.

Through this experience of becoming a parent, I've emerged as a healthier, happier, and more fulfilled individual, enriched immeasurably by the unexpected gifts of motherhood—a journey that allowed me to blossom into my truest self.

Her Bio:

From a childhood that began on a subsistence farm in upstate New Hampshire, to a summer farming in Hawaii, to meeting her spouse in an elevator in Hong Kong, Rielly has intentionally explored the globe. Her experiences inform all she does, give her a unique perspective, and drive both her ability and desire to connect with all kinds of people and the world around us.

In 2001, she graduated with a BA in psychology and went on to achieve a JD from Fordham University in 2006. She spent years lawyering on Wall Street before she moved on to her entrepreneurial journey and hasn’t stopped since.

Rielly now combines her love of so many things; from solving complex problems and helping people both identify and achieve their potential, to writing, design, and speaking. She mixes all of this into an entrepreneurial life. The impact that we all can have on the world through authenticity, language, and curiosity drives her to continue seeking new opportunities and pathways in life.

In 2017 she ran for political office - won - and then founded Moms Running, a company that supports and uplifts moms in politics. Over time she translated Moms Running into a space to coach moms through everything from roles in advocacy to political candidacy. She followed up Moms Running by co-founding Go Boldly Initiative and starting the We Go Boldly podcast. She loves to talk, meditate, hike, and read. Most of all, she loves helping people understand who they are and who they can become.

Rielly is a doer, innovator, risk taker, adventurer, wife, mom of two, and all-around lover of seeking out the beauty and hope in the world. Today, she lives in the far reaches of Western New Jersey with her kids and transplanted Australian husband. She is filled with wanderlust and a penchant for adventure.
